Description
The black Teac UD-505 is a dual-mono USB DAC with a built-in headphone amplifier offering flexible connectivity, high-resolution audio, and precise performance for audiophiles and demanding listeners. Its discrete dual-mono design incorporates isolated analog and digital sections as well as per-channel converters, buffer amps, and toroidal-core transformers. Dual onboard clocks provide stable operation at an array of sample rates, while a BNC external clock input accommodates synchronization to a dedicated master clock (available separately). The UD-505 supports PCM playback up to 32-bit / 768 kHz, and DSD playback up to DSD512 (22.5 MHz).
Stream music wirelessly in LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, AAC, or SBC codecs from a mobile device to the built-in Bluetooth receiver. Connect analog and digital sources via the RCA, USB, coaxial, and optical inputs, and select your desired input using the front-panel input knob or the supplied remote control. The selected input and more will be shown on the high-contrast OLED screen. XLR and RCA outputs allow easy hookup to speakers while the 1/4" TRS and Pentaconn headphone outputs facilitate connecting balanced or unbalanced headphones.
